I think that if you check out the Lyrics Corrections thread, you will be very happy.

I certainly am now! Very Happy

Any news on the question posed in the title of this thread, btw?

(Yeah I know, typical E6 fan, always wanting more Razz )

I really hope they do play it live at some point.

I posted this under Live Gigs, but I'll post it here as well.

We will probably never hear this live. Not going to go into the reason, as I'm not sure it's something Tyler would want on the internet. But just looking to manage expectations.

Oh that's not going to create needless debate probably 10000 times worse than whatever the real reason is now is it? Twisted Evil

Awww, dammit my out and out favourite song and there seems to be kind of a bitter taste about it within the band? Gay Bar Part 3? Shocked

*sigh* Bugger.

Not only is that a shame but now I'm incredibly curious. Ah well, it's not like the Six don't have a huge selection of other wonderful songs to enjoy live.

Yeah, sorry. Sad Not trying to be some kind of dick and I hate being the bearer of bad news, but I've been told basically that it's extremely unlikely we're gonna hear it live. Feel free to ask him about it, maybe he will tell you. But yeah. Sucky.

Don't feel bad about it! I and I imagine everyone else here would rather know not to expect a song, that way if it ever does show up in a setlist when I see them, it'll be all the sweeter.

I never expected to hear it live anyway given how a lot of its charm comes from the effect on the vocals in the verses (are they vocoded?).

Am I reading too much into this, or does that mean there's some sort of bitter taste over Gay Bar, Part Two within the band that I don't know about? Do tell.

Actually I messed up there.
Its more like Gay Bar part 2 is a reprise to the bitterness invoked by the soft steaming shits always demanding nothing but Gay Bar...

So I dunno, if the NAB makes them feel as bad as that, it's not gonna be played.
I'd wager the band would stop playing gay bar if it didn't mean their live attendances would reduce by two thirds Embarassed

Yeah, I imagine they would too. Or at very least, stop it being a setlist standard.

Tis a shame, especially as I think it would be a good crowd-stirrer, but never mind. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason was something to do with the constant namedropping of Miguel Bose, if he didn't like it. But speculation will get us nowhere, so no matter. Smile

I really would not mind if they did that Smile or at least, started to occasionally omit it.
